The room had a lovely cozy atmosphere with beautiful decor.
The shower pressure was disappointingly low, making it less enjoyable.

The cozy four-poster bed provided a perfect escape on a stormy night. Breakfast choices were delightful, and the staff greeted us with warm smiles every morning.

The historic architecture adds character with its exposed beams and charming decor, creating an inviting atmosphere. A cozy bar area features an impressive selection of local ales that stands out for a relaxing evening.
The mattress in room 7 felt notably saggy, which might leave you tossing and turning. Paying up front for everything felt a bit rigid, lacking the flexibility that often comes with hotel stays. The bathroom in room 5 had visible mold in the shower, which is hard to overlook. Breakfast starts late at 8 am during weekdays—if you're an early riser, you’ll want to plan for that.

A fantastic getaway with friends! We loved the cozy atmosphere and the stunning views of Althorp House nearby. The meals were delicious, especially the generous portions, which made our dining experience truly enjoyable. Although the shower pressure could be improved, it didn't detract from the overall experience. Definitely a recommendation for those looking for a charming spot to relax.

Had an amazing getaway with friends! We explored the stunning Spencer Family Estate and enjoyed a lovely walk across open farmland with spectacular views of Althorp House. The place was cozy, and the breakfast included was a real treat. Just a heads up, shower pressure could be better, but that didn’t ruin our fun. Definitely recommend for a group trip!
The staff were a bit slow at times during our meals, which took longer than expected. It was frustrating, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience.

Family with children should think twice,, but great dining
So I got to stay there for a night with my family, and I must say, the dining experience was a highlight. The breakfast, oh man,, it was simply fantastic, I mean they had this chef who could really cook!
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive either,. but we got through the stay alright.
